The Top SUVs of 2019

The Top SUVs of 2019

SUVs consistently score high in popularity among people around the country, particularly for families. You can find SUVs in a variety of sizes and prices, ranging from smaller models that are not much larger than subcompact cars to extended-length larger vehicles that use pick-up truck hardware. If you prefer to invest in an SUV because of its many features like elevated ride height, off-roading powers, and all-wheel-drive, there are many models that you can choose from:

1. Porsche Cayenne
The third-generation Porsche Cayenne is one of the top SUVs of 2019 and rather appealing; it looks simple on the outside but has spacious interiors. This SUV is rather sleek in appearance; there are however no flashy protrusions or complex lines. The vehicle has newly-designed taillights that encompass the logo inside. The dashboard has no unwanted contours and the leather interiors gives it a luxurious feel. The seats offer a lot of support but aren’t tight so as to make the occupants feel uncomfortable. There’s an ample amount of headroom and legroom, even for tall passengers. There are multiple driving modes, even an individual setting that you can customize using a few parameters. The home screen offers infotainment and is highly responsive, booting up fast as soon as the car is started. As far as safety is concerned, this SUV is equipped with automatic emergency braking systems and parking sensors.

2. Audi Q5
It’s rather difficult to identify loopholes in an all-rounder SUV like the Audi Q5. This is by far one of the most popular top SUVs of 2019 in the mid-size luxury SUV category. The 2018 Q5 can compete with the BMW X3, the Mercedes-Benz GLC, and the Volvo XC60. It doesn’t look radically different from its predecessor, particularly the curved roofline. It closely resembles the Q7 especially the LED DRLs or daytime running lamps which is a trademark of Audi cars. The second-generation Q5 has an intricate design for the LEDs, a more compact look compared to the earlier models. The interiors provide a familiar look and feel. The air-con vents, steering wheel, and huge display resemble the older models; the display offers a large-screen format that helps in easy navigation. Seats are comfortable and plush and the driver’s seat has the memory function.

3. Mercedes-Benz AMG G-Class
The new G-Class SUV is another of the top SUVs of 2019 and comes with a 4.0-liter V8 engine delivering 577 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque via a 9-speed auto transmission. Like the regular G550, it has Dynamic Select allowing the driver to choose among five driving modes, namely, Individual, Slippery, Comfort, Sport, and Sport +1. The overall riding quality is excellent with the 9-speed auto transmission working perfectly. It can shift easily with light throttle; steering efforts are natural and you can experience how the rear and front anti-roll bars work to keep the G63 from leaning too much when the roads are curvy. The G 63’s rear, center and, front differentials may be locked through three buttons. So, it almost has the climbing powers of mountain goats. The steering wheel is covered with Nappa leather, shift paddles are of galvanized steel, and there’s a flat bottom to ensure high clearance. The G 63 is far more spacious than previous models with more legroom in the front and back. On the outside, there are running boards, flared fenders, metallic paintwork, and distinctive trim elements.

These cars are one of the top SUVs of 2019 and absolutely worth the purchase.
